About Leigh
Leigh Ramsey LPCC 19453
As both a therapist and educator, Leigh Ramsey
brings over 20 years of experience working with
adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds.
Originally from Long Beach, California, Leigh began
her professional journey as a dedicated Special
Education Teacher, where she developed a deep
understanding of human resilience and the
importance of individualized support.
Driven by a passion to help others on a deeper
emotional and psychological level, Leigh pursued
graduate studies at the University of La Verne. She
earned her Master’s degree in Educational Counseling
with an emphasis on School and Family-Based Counseling,
and went on to fulfill the training and licensure requirements
to become a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
Leigh is known for her ability to recognize potential in others—especially when they struggle to see it in themselves. She understands that people often face complex, deeply rooted challenges, and she takes pride in helping clients navigate and overcome the barriers that can feel paralyzing. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a belief in the power of change.
Drawing from evidence-based practices such as Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Attachment Theory, Leigh supports clients in developing healthier thought patterns, emotional regulation skills, and a renewed sense of hope. Her goal is to empower individuals to create meaningful, lasting change and to pursue a more fulfilling, balanced quality of life.
